There are seven ranger stations in the White River National Forest. This site concentrates on Summit and Eagle Counties. The Dillon Ranger District in Silverthorne and the Eagle/Holy Cross Ranger District in Minturn.

    Camping
    The White River National Forest has many developed facilities including family and group campgrounds & picnic areas. Please refer to this section for detailed information regarding available services. Dispersed camping is also available at no cost if you truly want to get away from it all!
    Fishing
    Find out where to cast your line! Information on seasons, licenses, and restrictions is available from the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
    Boating
    New Colorado boating regulations are in place to limit the spread of non-native Quagga and Zebra Mussels. Learn more about how you can help prevent the spread of these aquatic nuisance species and get a link to the State website for the latest information.
    Wilderness
    Wilderness is a place where the imprint of humans is substantially un-noticed. Find out about the various Wilderness areas on the White River National Forest.
    Trails
    Hundreds of miles of trails are available to to hikers, horseback riders, and fishermen. Off-highway vehicle users will also find many opportunities for off-road enjoyment in the White River National Forest.
